FAQ
Size Guide – Hats
Hat size is measured by the circumference of your head in centimeters. To determine this, use a dressmaker's tape measure and place it across the middle of your forehead and at the level of the back of your head (usually 1 cm above your eyebrows and ears).
Hold it comfortably, not too tight, as you would like your hat to fit: most sizing errors occur by applying the tape measure too tightly.
If you don't have a flexible tape measure, you can use a piece of string or ribbon (non-stretchy) and then measure it flat.
If your measurement is between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger of the two. This will make wearing the hat more comfortable.
You can adjust the size of the hat using a small piece of foam or cork strips (which we can provide) to place behind the fabric or leather headband inside the hat.
The most popular sizes for women are generally 55-56-57 and for men 58-59-60.

Interview – Hats
Our hats are made according to the rules of the art, with the finest materials and with the greatest care.
To best preserve your hat, here is our advice:
Whether it's made of straw or felt, the ideal is to store it in a hat box or on a shelf – upside down, that is, placed on the crown, making sure that its brim does not touch any surface (to avoid changing its shape). In general, you should avoid placing your hat flat on a surface, which can eventually give the brim an incorrect shape.
Our felt hats are waterproof and can therefore help you face the harsh winter weather. However, felt is a material that moves when it comes into contact with water and heat. You must be careful and it is therefore advisable to avoid rain. When your hat gets wet, it is advisable to gently drain it and then let it dry at room temperature, placed on the crown.
You can regularly brush your hat (in the direction of the hair!) and waterproof it using a rain repellent spray.
If there is a stain on your hat, clean it by sprinkling it with Fuller's earth, leave it to act and then brush it off.
Finally, if you wish, we offer a package to have your hat restored to shape in the workshop.

Size Guide – Gloves
To find out your glove size, measure around the palm of your hand (right for right-handed people and left for left-handed people), without taking the thumb, with a dressmaker's tape measure.
Take the measurement and then refer to the glove size correspondence table below:
If you don't have a flexible tape measure, you can use a piece of string or ribbon and then measure it flat.
When you first try it on, it's normal for the glove to feel snug. The leather will break in over time and quickly mold to the shape of your hand, ensuring your comfort.
The most popular sizes for women are generally 6.5 – 7 – 7.5 and for men 8 – 8.5 – 9.
Maintenance – Gloves
Our gloves are made with respect for tradition and with the finest leathers, to provide ideal comfort, a unique feel and exceptional flexibility. For this reason, no additional protective product is added to the glove and it is possible that in case of humidity or light perspiration the color of the glove may run; this is in no way a sign of a defect in the leather but rather that of the choice of purity of the product.
We also advise you not to expose your gloves to the sun's rays for prolonged periods.
In case of stains, clean with a little Fuller's earth or Marseille soap and leave to dry at room temperature.
